Reesha Barbershop has been great.  I have used places that are in close proximity to this location because of where I live but my experience at those locations has not been so good.   I go to Holla at this shop and he has been very consistent which I like versus you never know what your going to get!   If you are in this area and tired of always wondering how your hair is going to look after your haircut then make a shift over here and you won’t regret it.

Been going to David for a great haircut for years. I never worry about getting a bad haircut with David and feel and look great every time I go. Reesha Barber Shop is a friendly, clean place and is easy to book a haircut online. Great place for an old-fashioned haircut.

What a great experience! My son and I happened to be visiting the area from Indiana for a baseball tournament. He decided we needed to get haircuts. We went in and met Holla. Not only did he provide us with fantastic service, but he did so with the utmost respect for us and passion for his artistry. I would recommend everyone from far and near to go to Reesha Barber Shop for the best of service in haircare. Five stars are near enough to give Holla...ten stars would be a good start!

Excellent haircut, consistently great every time.  I have been a customer of Reesha Barber Shop for more than five years.  Even though I have moved further away I always drive back for a cut.  Would recommend.

My experience here is always excellent. I frequently get my haircut by Hardi and he always does an amazing job and is very personable. More recently I used the scheduler on their website and thought this progress was very streamlined and easy to use.

Kiyan has been my barber for almost three years and he is kind, down to Earth but also very skilled. I walk away such a happy customer every-time I go to see him. Reesha is a great place to get your services done, and I highly recommend Kiyan. You will not be disappointed.

I would highly recommend Cici. She always does a great cut for my son. She is friendly, on time and most importantly my son is always happy with his haircut. She listens to what you ask for but also will recommend suggestions based on the hair type/issue.

Good haircut, good company.  I get my neck shaved and a hot towel.  Howie pays attention to what I want and follows through… something SO many others did not do.  They would listen then cut it the same regardless.  I am loyal to Howie specifically because he listens, takes pride in his work, and goes an extra mile.

I had to change my spot last minute due to a scheduling issue on my part. Howie took care of me with no problem. Excellent service, excellent cut, and a wonderful conversation. He even gave me some thoughtful advice on life. The shop and tools were all very clean.I am overall very pleased with the service provided today. 10/10 would recommend and I would come back anytime I'm in the area.

Fantastic haircut today from Aslan. I needed a haircut while I was visiting town and the team at Reesha welcomed me in without an appointment. Aslan was my barber and did a great buzz cut and beard trim with shave to trim around my beard and neck. It’s a great place to relax with a good vibe. I would go back again without hesitation.

Amazing salon. I have gone to Ferah twice, and could not have better things to say. She is super friendly and does a great job both on hair and on beards/neck trims. The salon itself is clean, pleasant and relaxing. Reesha is my new permanent “barber shop”.

I love Mahnaz. I’ve been coming to this location for 3 years now just for her. She not only does a great job with my hair but she is amazing with my son. When she’s been out of town once a year maybe, I’ve used others and they do a really good job as well but she is by far one of the best! Unfortunately, I’m not sure I can keep coming due to the recent spike in cost. To increase the price of a haircut up 16% overnight is crazy. I sure hope you are giving that to your barbers, because they are the ones doing all the work and people come for them, not your building. I’d get my haircut by Mahnaz in the middle of a parking lot, I don’t care. If it was just me, I probably wouldn’t complain but my son is 6 years old and you charge him $35 for a haircut too? What is wrong with you guys??? You’re the only place I have ever seen not have a kid (12 and under) price. I mean his head is legit half the size of an adult head but I’m supposed to pay $70 for he and I to get a simple fade once a month? That’s crazy. Then with tip, you’re talking almost $90. I could live with a small price hike on my haircut but until you guys can read the room and understand that with the rising cost in health care and groceries, I’m going to prioritize those things over a haircut, I have to find another alternative. I would rather go back to shaving my own head like I did for 5 years before coming in and just handing you and extra $10 this month vs last month. I didn’t ask Mahnez about it because I don’t think it’s fair to put her in the uncomfortable position of answering something like that but it sure smells like corporate greed to me. Unless you’re going tell me that price hike is going directly to your barbers and not you for no reason, then I’m going to take my business elsewhere. Honestly you just come off like greedy d-bags with that recent move.

Went here for the first time today, and was so happy I did!! First of all shout out to Diyar for seeing me so close to closing! The haircut……FLAWLESS!!! I usually don’t take my son for his haircut, so I was at a complete loss at what to ask for, but Diyar was amazing and my son has never had such a sharp haircut!! Thank you so much again. We’ll bee seeing you once this one grows out ?

Great experience!  I travel to Atlanta periodically for work.  Needed a haircut this time and decided to stop walk in at Reesha in Sandy Spring on a whim. I'm glad that I did. I’ll make a point to come back next time I'm in town. The barber that cut my hair was very skilled and great to deal with.

Gainesville, GA

This barbershop in Gainesville was built around consistency. You shouldn't have to re-explain your preferences every single time you sit down. We track what works for you, and build on it. The difference shows up in the finished cut, and clients notice it immediately.

The atmosphere here reflects that same intentionality. It's clean, focused, and relaxed. The shop is set up to make the experience comfortable from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. We avoid loud distractions and rushed energy. You should never feel like you're just a number moving through a queue. You get a barber's full attention from start to finish.

Haircut Styles We Specialize In at This Location

A men's haircut at Reesha Barbers covers a wide range of styles. We work with fades of all varieties and know how to handle tapers, textured cuts, line-ups, and classic cuts that hold their shape between appointments. If you want something specific, bring a photo. If you want our suggestions on what works best for your face shape and hair type, we'll give you an honest answer.

The hot shave is one of our most requested services, and for good reason. We use a straight razor with a pre-shave oil, hot towels, and a post-shave treatment that leaves your skin clean and free of irritation. A hotshave done right takes time and technique. Rushing it causes razor burn and uneven lines, so we don't rush it. If you've never had a proper straight razor shave, it's worth booking the service on its own just for the experience.

We also provide beard shaping, beard fades, and full beard cleanups for clients who want their facial hair to match the precision of their cut. Longer beards can be structured and defined. Shorter beards get tight, clean edges. Every service comes with the same level of focus, and nothing gets treated as an afterthought.

Keeping Kids Calm in the Chair

A kids haircut requires a different approach than adults. Kids move, get anxious, and lose patience faster. Our barbers know how to keep the environment calm and explain what we're doing in a way that makes sense to younger clients. We also work at a pace that doesn't escalate nerves into a full meltdown.

A boys haircut at Reesha Barbers is clean, precise, and built to last several weeks. We talk with parents beforehand to understand the goal, whether that's a fade, a simple trim, or a specific style your kid has been asking for. If a child is coming in for the first time, we take extra time to get them comfortable before picking up any tools, so the whole appointment goes better for everyone in the room.

Kids who have a good first experience at the barbershop are dramatically easier to bring back. We've watched plenty of nervous first-timers become regulars who hop right into the chair without a second thought. Parents leave confident, kids leave proud of themselves, and the combination is exactly what we're going for every single time.

What a Good Cut Looks Like Up Close

Most people can tell when a haircut looks good. Fewer people know exactly why it looks good. Good barbering starts with the consultation. A skilled barber asks the right questions, looks at how your hair grows, identifies cowlicks or growth patterns that will affect the finished cut, and adjusts the plan before the clippers touch your head.

Clean clipper work means crisp transitions between lengths without choppiness or visible lines where they shouldn't be. Scissor work on top should remove bulk and weight without making the hair look thin or uneven. The line-up at the forehead, temples, and neck should be symmetrical. Each of these elements requires a different skill set, and a barber in Gainesville worth returning to has all of them working together.

The finishing details separate an average cut from a great one. How the neck is cleaned up, whether the sideburns are balanced, and how the final product looks after a light product application are the things clients notice when they get home and look in the mirror. We care about what the cut looks like on day three just as much as we care about what it looks like walking out the door.

Building a Relationship With Your Barber

The best haircut you'll ever get will come from a barber who already knows you. When you return to the same barber in Gainesville, visit after visit, they start to anticipate what you need before you ask. They'll notice when your hair grows faster in certain spots, when a previous style has started growing out awkwardly, or when your hair texture changes with the seasons.

By your third appointment, you're not starting from scratch. You'll sit down, exchange a few words, and the barber gets to work on a cut that's already calibrated specifically for you. The consultation will get shorter, and the whole experience becomes easier because the groundwork is already there.

We encourage clients to request the same barber when they book. It's the most direct path to creating the kind of working relationship where honest feedback goes both ways. If something isn't working, you say so. If a style would suit you better with a small adjustment, your barber tells you. That back-and-forth is how the cuts keep getting better.

How to Book, What to Bring, and What to Tell Us

Booking at Reesha Barbers is simple. Schedule online or call ahead to lock in your appointment. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability, but an appointment guarantees your spot and eliminates wait time. If you're booking a kids haircut, note that when you schedule, so we can plan the appointment and make sure the barber is ready for a younger client.

When you arrive, bring a reference photo if you have a specific style in mind. It doesn't have to be a perfect match. Even a general direction gives us something concrete to work from. More importantly, tell us how you want your hair to look at week two or three. That framing helps us set the right length and structure so the cut holds up as it grows out.

Let us know about any sensitivities upfront. If certain products irritate your scalp, if you've had a bad reaction to a razor before, or if clippers cause discomfort near your ears, say so before we start. We adjust tools and products based on each client's needs, but only when we know what to work around. The more specific you are going in, the better the result coming out.
