A great haircut gives you confidence that carries through your entire week. But not every barbershop delivers the right experience. Too many people settle for whoever is available rather than finding someone who understands their style. At Reesha Barber, we serve the local community with personalized service. First-time visitors become loyal clients. Walking into a barbershop in Sugar Hill should feel like visiting a place where people know your name. The team should take pride in sending you out looking your best. Keep reading to find out what makes a quality barbershop, how to communicate what you want to your barber, and why the right shop is an important part of your routine.
Where you spend your time matters. When you're letting someone work inches from your face with sharp tools, you want to be somewhere that puts you at ease. Nobody wants to sit in a chair for thirty minutes in a place that's uncomfortable. The vibe of a shop tells you a lot about how they run things and whether they actually care about the people walking through the door. A good barber shop in Sugar Hill has good energy without chaos. There's enough going on that you can zone out or join in depending on your mood. When you're relaxed, you sit better in the chair, and that makes the job easier for whoever is cutting your hair. Tense shoulders and fidgeting lead to uneven lines and rushed work. The shops that get their atmosphere right understand that grooming is personal. People need to trust the space before they trust the person with the clippers.

770-888-5500Reesha Barbershop has been great. I have used places that are in close proximity to this location because of where I live but my experience at those locations has not been so good. I go to Holla at this shop and he has been very consistent which I like versus you never know what your going to get! If you are in this area and tired of always wondering how your hair is going to look after your haircut then make a shift over here and you won’t regret it.
Been going to David for a great haircut for years. I never worry about getting a bad haircut with David and feel and look great every time I go. Reesha Barber Shop is a friendly, clean place and is easy to book a haircut online. Great place for an old-fashioned haircut.
What a great experience! My son and I happened to be visiting the area from Indiana for a baseball tournament. He decided we needed to get haircuts. We went in and met Holla. Not only did he provide us with fantastic service, but he did so with the utmost respect for us and passion for his artistry. I would recommend everyone from far and near to go to Reesha Barber Shop for the best of service in haircare. Five stars are near enough to give Holla...ten stars would be a good start!
Excellent haircut, consistently great every time. I have been a customer of Reesha Barber Shop for more than five years. Even though I have moved further away I always drive back for a cut. Would recommend.
My experience here is always excellent. I frequently get my haircut by Hardi and he always does an amazing job and is very personable. More recently I used the scheduler on their website and thought this progress was very streamlined and easy to use.
Kiyan has been my barber for almost three years and he is kind, down to Earth but also very skilled. I walk away such a happy customer every-time I go to see him. Reesha is a great place to get your services done, and I highly recommend Kiyan. You will not be disappointed.
I would highly recommend Cici. She always does a great cut for my son. She is friendly, on time and most importantly my son is always happy with his haircut. She listens to what you ask for but also will recommend suggestions based on the hair type/issue.
Good haircut, good company. I get my neck shaved and a hot towel. Howie pays attention to what I want and follows through… something SO many others did not do. They would listen then cut it the same regardless. I am loyal to Howie specifically because he listens, takes pride in his work, and goes an extra mile.
Mikayla is awesome, she’s super friendly and has given me a great haircut everytime! it is so appreciated to go to a barber as a woman with short hair and get the haircut i am looking for !
I had to change my spot last minute due to a scheduling issue on my part. Howie took care of me with no problem. Excellent service, excellent cut, and a wonderful conversation. He even gave me some thoughtful advice on life. The shop and tools were all very clean.I am overall very pleased with the service provided today. 10/10 would recommend and I would come back anytime I'm in the area.
Fantastic haircut today from Aslan. I needed a haircut while I was visiting town and the team at Reesha welcomed me in without an appointment. Aslan was my barber and did a great buzz cut and beard trim with shave to trim around my beard and neck. It’s a great place to relax with a good vibe. I would go back again without hesitation.
Amazing salon. I have gone to Ferah twice, and could not have better things to say. She is super friendly and does a great job both on hair and on beards/neck trims. The salon itself is clean, pleasant and relaxing. Reesha is my new permanent “barber shop”.
I love Mahnaz. I’ve been coming to this location for 3 years now just for her. She not only does a great job with my hair but she is amazing with my son. When she’s been out of town once a year maybe, I’ve used others and they do a really good job as well but she is by far one of the best! Unfortunately, I’m not sure I can keep coming due to the recent spike in cost. To increase the price of a haircut up 16% overnight is crazy. I sure hope you are giving that to your barbers, because they are the ones doing all the work and people come for them, not your building. I’d get my haircut by Mahnaz in the middle of a parking lot, I don’t care. If it was just me, I probably wouldn’t complain but my son is 6 years old and you charge him $35 for a haircut too? What is wrong with you guys??? You’re the only place I have ever seen not have a kid (12 and under) price. I mean his head is legit half the size of an adult head but I’m supposed to pay $70 for he and I to get a simple fade once a month? That’s crazy. Then with tip, you’re talking almost $90. I could live with a small price hike on my haircut but until you guys can read the room and understand that with the rising cost in health care and groceries, I’m going to prioritize those things over a haircut, I have to find another alternative. I would rather go back to shaving my own head like I did for 5 years before coming in and just handing you and extra $10 this month vs last month. I didn’t ask Mahnez about it because I don’t think it’s fair to put her in the uncomfortable position of answering something like that but it sure smells like corporate greed to me. Unless you’re going tell me that price hike is going directly to your barbers and not you for no reason, then I’m going to take my business elsewhere. Honestly you just come off like greedy d-bags with that recent move.
Went here for the first time today, and was so happy I did!! First of all shout out to Diyar for seeing me so close to closing! The haircut……FLAWLESS!!! I usually don’t take my son for his haircut, so I was at a complete loss at what to ask for, but Diyar was amazing and my son has never had such a sharp haircut!! Thank you so much again. We’ll bee seeing you once this one grows out ?
Great experience! I travel to Atlanta periodically for work. Needed a haircut this time and decided to stop walk in at Reesha in Sandy Spring on a whim. I'm glad that I did. I’ll make a point to come back next time I'm in town. The barber that cut my hair was very skilled and great to deal with.
What works on your buddy might look terrible on you, and it has nothing to do with skill. Texture changes everything. Thick hair behaves differently than fine hair. Curly patterns need specific techniques, or you'll walk out looking like a completely different person once everything dries and springs back up. A barber in Sugar Hill who knows what they're doing can look at your hair, run their hands through it once, and already know which guards to use and where to adjust their angles. Someone without that experience just follows the same routine for everybody and hopes for the best. That's how you end up with cuts that photograph well in the mirror but grow out weird within a week. For parents bringing kids in, this becomes even more important because children's hair changes as they get older. The boys haircut that worked last year might need a totally different approach now. Find someone who pays attention to the right details instead of treating every head the same. Ask questions. If they can't explain how they'd handle your specific texture, that tells you something.
Most bad haircuts come down to miscommunication, not lack of talent. You say "trim it up" and mean one thing, while the person cutting hears something totally different. Photos fix this faster than words ever will. Pull up two or three examples on your phone and point to what you like about each one. Maybe you want the fade from this picture, but the length on top from another one. Say it out loud. A men's haircut consultation should be a quick back and forth where both people get on the same page before the cutting happens. Don't nod along, hoping they'll figure it out. Speak up about what went wrong last time or what you absolutely don't want. A good barber shop in Sugar Hill encourages this kind of conversation because they'd rather spend an extra minute talking than send you home unhappy. The same goes for parents booking a kids haircut. Tell them how your child handles the clippers, how long they can realistically sit still, and what styles work for your morning routine. The more information you share upfront, the better the outcome.
A sharp cut only goes so far if the rest of your look doesn't match. Beard work has become just as important as the hair on top for guys who keep facial hair, and there's a big difference between what you can do at home versus what a trained hand can accomplish. Clean lines along the cheeks and neck frame your face and make the whole package come together. Hot towel treatments before a shave opens up your pores and makes everything more comfortable. Edge work around the temples and forehead adds a crisp finish you notice in the mirror for days after your appointment. A barbershop in Sugar Hill that's worth visiting offers multiple services that all take place under one roof, so you're not running around. A men's haircut, paired with a proper beard shape and detailed lineup, takes maybe an extra fifteen minutes, but the difference shows. For younger clients getting a boys haircut, even simple edge work around the ears cleans everything up and teaches them early what good grooming looks like.
Book your appointment at Reesha Barber and see why Sugar Hill locals keep coming back. We take the time to get it right, we remember what you like, and we send you out looking better than when you walked in.
