Barbershop in Holly Springs, GA

Too many barbershops rush you through like you're on an assembly line, and leave you with uneven fades that don't match what you asked for. As a barbershop in Holly Springs, Reesha Barber takes pride in offering the kind of attention and skill that makes every client feel like they're our only appointment of the day. A barber shop should be a place where you can relax, have a good conversation, and walk out knowing you look great without having to second-guess the results. Keep reading to find out what questions to ask before sitting in anyone's chair, how to tell if a barber is right for you, and what a truly professional experience should include.

Red Flags That Tell You a Shop Isn't Worth Your Time

Before you commit to a new barber shop in Holly Springs, pay attention to what the environment tells you. Dirty combs sitting in stagnant liquid, hair clippings scattered across multiple stations, and barbers who don't sanitize their tools between clients are all signs that you should turn around. A lack of organization usually means a lack of care, and if someone can't keep their workspace clean, they probably won't give your haircut the precision it deserves. Watch how the staff interacts with clients already in the chairs because dismissive attitudes or professionals who seem annoyed by questions tell you everything about how they'll treat you. If you notice that every single person walking out has basically the same cut regardless of their head shape or personal style, that's another warning sign that the shop operates on autopilot rather than customization. You also want to avoid places where the consultation lasts about three seconds before the clippers come out, since a skilled professional should always take time to understand what you're looking for and offer suggestions based on your hair type and growth patterns.

Reesha Barbershop has been great.  I have used places that are in close proximity to this location because of where I live but my experience at those locations has not been so good.   I go to Holla at this shop and he has been very consistent which I like versus you never know what your going to get!   If you are in this area and tired of always wondering how your hair is going to look after your haircut then make a shift over here and you won’t regret it.

Been going to David for a great haircut for years. I never worry about getting a bad haircut with David and feel and look great every time I go. Reesha Barber Shop is a friendly, clean place and is easy to book a haircut online. Great place for an old-fashioned haircut.

What a great experience! My son and I happened to be visiting the area from Indiana for a baseball tournament. He decided we needed to get haircuts. We went in and met Holla. Not only did he provide us with fantastic service, but he did so with the utmost respect for us and passion for his artistry. I would recommend everyone from far and near to go to Reesha Barber Shop for the best of service in haircare. Five stars are near enough to give Holla...ten stars would be a good start!

Excellent haircut, consistently great every time.  I have been a customer of Reesha Barber Shop for more than five years.  Even though I have moved further away I always drive back for a cut.  Would recommend.

My experience here is always excellent. I frequently get my haircut by Hardi and he always does an amazing job and is very personable. More recently I used the scheduler on their website and thought this progress was very streamlined and easy to use.

Kiyan has been my barber for almost three years and he is kind, down to Earth but also very skilled. I walk away such a happy customer every-time I go to see him. Reesha is a great place to get your services done, and I highly recommend Kiyan. You will not be disappointed.

I would highly recommend Cici. She always does a great cut for my son. She is friendly, on time and most importantly my son is always happy with his haircut. She listens to what you ask for but also will recommend suggestions based on the hair type/issue.

Good haircut, good company.  I get my neck shaved and a hot towel.  Howie pays attention to what I want and follows through… something SO many others did not do.  They would listen then cut it the same regardless.  I am loyal to Howie specifically because he listens, takes pride in his work, and goes an extra mile.

I had to change my spot last minute due to a scheduling issue on my part. Howie took care of me with no problem. Excellent service, excellent cut, and a wonderful conversation. He even gave me some thoughtful advice on life. The shop and tools were all very clean.I am overall very pleased with the service provided today. 10/10 would recommend and I would come back anytime I'm in the area.

Fantastic haircut today from Aslan. I needed a haircut while I was visiting town and the team at Reesha welcomed me in without an appointment. Aslan was my barber and did a great buzz cut and beard trim with shave to trim around my beard and neck. It’s a great place to relax with a good vibe. I would go back again without hesitation.

Amazing salon. I have gone to Ferah twice, and could not have better things to say. She is super friendly and does a great job both on hair and on beards/neck trims. The salon itself is clean, pleasant and relaxing. Reesha is my new permanent “barber shop”.

I love Mahnaz. I’ve been coming to this location for 3 years now just for her. She not only does a great job with my hair but she is amazing with my son. When she’s been out of town once a year maybe, I’ve used others and they do a really good job as well but she is by far one of the best! Unfortunately, I’m not sure I can keep coming due to the recent spike in cost. To increase the price of a haircut up 16% overnight is crazy. I sure hope you are giving that to your barbers, because they are the ones doing all the work and people come for them, not your building. I’d get my haircut by Mahnaz in the middle of a parking lot, I don’t care. If it was just me, I probably wouldn’t complain but my son is 6 years old and you charge him $35 for a haircut too? What is wrong with you guys??? You’re the only place I have ever seen not have a kid (12 and under) price. I mean his head is legit half the size of an adult head but I’m supposed to pay $70 for he and I to get a simple fade once a month? That’s crazy. Then with tip, you’re talking almost $90. I could live with a small price hike on my haircut but until you guys can read the room and understand that with the rising cost in health care and groceries, I’m going to prioritize those things over a haircut, I have to find another alternative. I would rather go back to shaving my own head like I did for 5 years before coming in and just handing you and extra $10 this month vs last month. I didn’t ask Mahnez about it because I don’t think it’s fair to put her in the uncomfortable position of answering something like that but it sure smells like corporate greed to me. Unless you’re going tell me that price hike is going directly to your barbers and not you for no reason, then I’m going to take my business elsewhere. Honestly you just come off like greedy d-bags with that recent move.

Went here for the first time today, and was so happy I did!! First of all shout out to Diyar for seeing me so close to closing! The haircut……FLAWLESS!!! I usually don’t take my son for his haircut, so I was at a complete loss at what to ask for, but Diyar was amazing and my son has never had such a sharp haircut!! Thank you so much again. We’ll bee seeing you once this one grows out ?

Great experience!  I travel to Atlanta periodically for work.  Needed a haircut this time and decided to stop walk in at Reesha in Sandy Spring on a whim. I'm glad that I did. I’ll make a point to come back next time I'm in town. The barber that cut my hair was very skilled and great to deal with.

How Experienced Barbers Handle Different Textures and Styles

Not every barber in Holly Springs has trained on the full range of hair textures. Coarse, curly, wavy, and straight hair each requires different techniques, blade angles, and clipper guard adjustments to achieve a clean result. Someone who works on only one texture type might struggle when faced with something outside their comfort zone, and leave you with a cut that looks decent from one angle but falls apart once you wash and style it yourself. Experienced professionals ask about your hair's natural behavior and how it grows in certain areas. They also know when to use shears versus clippers and understand that a men's haircut on thick, wavy hair requires a different approach than the same style on fine, straight hair. A boys haircut has its own challenges too because kids move around more and their hair textures can change as they grow. It requires a patient hand and an adaptable technique. The best professionals stay current with continuing education and aren't afraid to admit when a certain style might not work for your hair type. They can offer alternatives that will look good on you.

What Your First Visit Should Tell You About Future Appointments

Your first appointment at any shop reveals a lot about whether you've found a long-term fit. The consultation should cover what you want today, as well as your lifestyle, how much time you spend on maintenance, and how long you typically go between cuts. An experienced barber will remember details about your preferences for the next visit and build a relationship that makes each appointment more personalized. Notice whether the person working on you explains what they're doing and why, because this shows they want you to understand the process and trust their decisions. The finishing touches matter as well, including proper neck cleanup, attention to your hairline, and a final mirror check from multiple angles to make sure everything looks right before you leave. If your first visit is rushed, there's little conversation, and then you're shoved toward the register, don't expect future appointments to improve. A kids haircut especially benefits from a great relationship since children become more comfortable when they see the same friendly face each time.

Creating a Look That Fits Your Lifestyle

Your job, hobbies, and personal style all play into what haircut will work best for you. The best cut in the world won't serve you well if it needs more upkeep than you're willing to commit to. Some styles need regular trims every two weeks to maintain their shape, while others can stretch four to six weeks. Someone who works outdoors or hits the gym every day needs a men's haircut that handles sweat and movement. It can't fall flat or look unkempt by noon. A professional at a barber shop in Holly Springs should ask about these things before recommending anything. The style should match your actual life, not whatever happens to be trending on social media. Product recommendations should follow the same logic because there's no point suggesting a pomade that requires fifteen minutes of styling if you're someone who needs to be out the door in five. When you find a professional who takes your real-world constraints seriously, you end up with a haircut that works for you seven days a week instead of just the day you leave the shop.
